English Speaking International Schools in Spain

Moving children from the school with which they are familiar, and transferring them, not only to a new school, but also to a new country and language, is a potentially upsetting experience. Fortunately, children generally adapt far quicker than adults do, and there are several English Speaking International Schools in Spain in the Costa Blanca region that will help your children settle in as quickly as possible.

The location of the English Speaking International Schools in Spain to your home is very important and most schools provide a bus service, but children who have spent an hour on the bus before arriving at English Speaking International Schools in Spain will be less receptive to teaching than those who live closer to the School. Obtaining a place in the school of your choice may, in some cases, be difficult so We recommend that you bring with you to interviews, recent school reports and assessments.

The English Speaking International Schools in Spain have very short half-term breaks which usually coincide with one of the public holidays to make a long weekend. There are generally about two weeks holiday at Christmas and the same at Easter also Holy Week itself, and either the week before or the week after. The summer holidays start in the last week of June and finish about halfway through September. The reason for this is that, in much of Spain, it is simply too hot in the summer months for children to sit in a classroom.
